The ABC&S research group is based in the School of Human Evolution and Social Change at Arizona State University. Our program focuses on the problem of 'human uniqueness' --- how and why humans came to be such distinctive organisms. The ABC&S group coordinates a seminar series, Evolution of Social Complexity. Talks are held on Wednesdays at noon, every other week, in ISTB-1 401. For more information about ABC&S and a schedule of upcoming speakers, click here.

We welcome applications from prospective graduate students. For information about application procedures at ASU, click here.
